DELIGHT Symposium at the 8th International Conference on Hybrid and Multifunctional Nanomaterials (HYMA) in Montpellier, March 3-6, 2025
March 3-6, 2025
Conference
The International Conference on Multifunctional, Hybrid and Nanomaterials (HYMA) is one of the flagship events in the field of innovative material research that targets sustainability in terms of processes, methods, resources and applications. Several key investigators of DELIGHT were involved in the organization of HYMA (Eugenia Kumacheva, Luis-Liz Marzán, Nicholas Kotov), and the DELIGHT project was represented by a special oral and poster session on Tuesday 4th. For the oral session, Prof. Cherie Kagan from the University of Pennsylvania (USA) and Prof. Makhsud Saidaminov from the University of Victoria (Canada) gave exciting views in their latest activities on three-dimensional metamaterials and X-ray detectors, and the poster session provided a vivid forum where young investigators could show and discuss their results. This was in particular fruitful towards future collaborations as a large number of partners (10 out of 14) were present.
